BLOGGING

"Blogosphere" as the world composed by people and Blogs, is part of my daily life since 3 years. In the past I had got a Blog where I used to write about my life, was a great way to keep updated my friends and my relatives that don't live close to me. At the time people loved check often my post to know more about my experiences abroad.
Since when I spent one year back to Italy, I thought was anymore necessary to keep a Blog, so I started my 365 project , where trough pictures instead of words I talk about my days.
In Italy most of my friends have a Blog and I'm part of those people who interact and get connect to built a network not only on the web but also in the real life.
Since I'm part of the staff of GGD Bologna I deeply trust in the power of Blogs to influence and share people's opinion.
I see that be a blogger is a recognized "status" and in some cases a Job too, because developing the ability to sell own opinion to readers is possible to be part of that mechanism of selling that is interesting for the market, which is getting more interested in Blogger.

In the other side I'm a "full-time" reader of Blogs. I categorized them by topic in Google Reader and all the time that is possible I check my feed to get information about news, photography, friends, technology etc...

Right now I don't think isn't my time yet to open a interesting Blog  because I don't have enough time to care of it and because I'm waiting to collect many contents together and then edit something interesting! :)

Stay tuned!

NEWSCAST: Wozzup close to Christmas! :)

This year will be the first time that I celebrate Christmas in California, but everything seems to be so different from Christmas in Italy. Even if I'm really enjoying to be here, I'd like have a little bit of nostalgia about the cold winter and the snow.
I chosen this picture to remember this part of the year in Bologna and through my newscast I give you to short news about what's going on in these days and about where I'll spend my vacation before to have a wonderful, warm, californian Christmas! :)
Merry Christmas to everybody ;)
Cheers!

How human beings can react under pressure

"Human beings sometimes falter under pressure

Pilots crash and divers drown. Under the glare of competition, basketball players cannot find the basket and golfers cannot find the pin. When that happens, we say variously that people have “panicked” or, to use the sports colloquialism, “choked.” But what do those words mean? Both are pejoratives. To choke or panic is considered to be as bad as to quit. But are all forms of failure equal? And what do the forms in which we fail say about who we are and how we think? We live in an age obsessed with success, with documenting the myriad ways by which talented people overcome challenges and obstacles. There is as much to be learned, though, from documenting the myriad ways in which talented people sometimes fail."
